Sarah Mac (Macalisang) — Durham-based creative whose roots remain in Romblon, a small island in the Philippines where generations of my family have lived. Although I was born in Canada, Romblon is where I call home, my root of inspiration and creative getaway. I graduated from George Brown College in 2014 with an Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design and a major in Advertising. Later that year I wanted to continue to explore what the world of Advertising had to offer by attending Seneca’s 2 year Creative Advertising program with a major in Creative. In 2016, I wrapped up my 5 year academic journey studying Graphic Design and Creative Advertising and worked in the creative field since 2011. Today I am pursuing a career in the Sports Marketing Industry entering my third season as a Digital Marketing Coordinator for the Oshawa Generals.
Aside from my life revolving around the creative world, in my down time I strive to give back to the community. I am currently a volunteer with SickKids Foundation, MLSE Foundation and the Hockey Hall of Fame.
