1 IN 6 CHILDREN FACE HUNGER EVERY YEAR— We live in one of the wealthiest countries in the world yet hunger is something that thousands of children are facing that leads to medical attention for many. Unfortunately for too many Canadian children, many attend school with an empty stomach. In addition to going to school hungry, these children are not having nutritious meals to get them through the day. This campaign encourages people to get together as one community that makes a difference. A community where positivity is present, goals are reached and inspirational change is made. The bright orange Nike shoebox and orange shoelaces play a significant role in this campaign. The shoe box and laces act as a beneficial tool that revolves around a visual metaphor of conquering Child Hunger one step forward.
One can receive a shoelace incentive by making a $5 donation or more. This show box will be present at all Nike stores as well as participating local companies.
